On the 1st Learning/Teaching/Training
Activities C1 Meeting held in Spain
The first
Learning/Teaching/Training
Activities C1 Meeting took place at Colegio Santo Ángel de la Guarda , Madrid,
Spain from 26th February to 2nd March.
All the teams arrived at Madrid Airport where
they were met by host families and Erasmus teachers from our school.
On the first day, Monday 26th
February, teachers started with a meeting
where we discussed the dates for the Greek transnational M2 meeting and for the C2 meeting in Slovakia. The agreed
dates were:
M2: 20th
and 21st September 2018
C2 : 15th to 19th October 2018.
Meanwhile , students , divided into two groups,
were shown the facilities of the school.
Afterwards, Pre-Primary students welcomed the
Erasmus + group with a show based on typical Spanish dances and folklore.
Before lunch, we developed two activities: The
first about the national side of coins, facts and characters and technical parameters.In these we used scales
and Vernier callipers .
The second ( A7 MM ) consisted in showing our
cities to one another.
In the afternoon we attended an interesting
Flamenco workshop. We were taught the cultural basis of this dance, its
importance and did some practice. We created a padlet where we uploaded some images from this event.
The second day at our school continued with a Commemorative coins presentations portfolio and
A Golden Age, Spanish Siglo De Oro ,Video.
At midday we visited the Royal Mint Museum in Madrid and had the
opportunity of coining a medal by striking.
In the second part of the day , the Polish team introduced a Portfolio of historical
events (A9) including a performance. After this, the first part of a 3D coin design workshop was held in the
computer room.
Segovia
was our destination on Wednesday. We visited the Royal Mint and the Alcázar of
Segovia and sightsaw the city.
Despite
the rainy day, our ten year old students served
as tourist guides around Madrid on the 1st of March . They told us
stories related to the Puerta del Sol, the Parliament, the Prado Museum and
Puerta de Alcalá among otherlandmarks.
In the afternoon, the Romanian
team introduced a Portfolio
of historical events (A9) including a performance. After this, the second
part of a 3D coin design workshop
was held in the computer room.
The
last day , we all came to conclusions in the morning and partners departed to their homes.
